The Rapes of Graff Redux

18 - It's Legal!

Yet another Evil Beaver-less episode, but it was still one of the best of the season. Though The Rapes of Graff not only granished the greatest episode title, it also has my favorite sequence of the season with the makeshift Reelect Don Lamb flyer.

Veronica and her hair
Not quite an Emmy Moment

Kristen Bell was also outstanding, no matter what the old Emmy voters think, with her coy hiding behind her hair trick and of course the look on her face after being called out on her Emmy performance.

The Frat Board

Of course we all met Iceman during this episode, but hopefully we get to meet Mr. Roofie sometime next season (look in the right column in the middle).

Screw with my head

And one can only hope Dick with yet another classic shirt here, pledges the same frat next season. One can only imagine what his nickname would be.

Hannah's last stand

And of course this was the last we saw of Hannah. Hopefully she makes it back from Vermont next season. But until then cue up It's so Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday.

The Quick and the Wed Redux

Beaver and Kendall

Evil Beaver actually made an appearance and this conversation should have raised some eyebrows in the elevator. But of course during the first run I guess I was too busy laughing at the "Thinking makes my breasts shrink." Watch those wandering eyes Evil Beaver. But afterwards I still don't understand why Beaver didn't want the Kane house.

Duncan's shower

I was surpised when this episode aired and people didn't realize she was doing in Duncan's shower or thought she was planting something. It was always obvious to me that she was getting some DNA for Aaron.

Vinnie Van Lowe

And for my money, whenever Vinnie Van Lowe shows up you know you are going to be in for some good laughs. Sadly Ronnie didn't take him up on his dollar draft night offer.

Hannah and Logan

One thing I notice for the first time while rewatching this episode was the lighting in this scene with Logan in the dark and Hannah covered in light. I'm sure there were a lot more scenes like this that I missed, but it's another reason why Veronica mars is a step above it competitors.

Jane

But it's nice to see Jane get her own episode. Add her to the already long list of Pirates that shows up at Hearst.

Arrested Development

Blogger's being stubborn again and won't let me upload pictures, so instead here is the infamous Arrested Development episode where Fox made the show censor the mention of Veronica Mars (you'll have to sit throw another funny censorship moment) courtesy of . Of course the younger Bluths were guests on the latter episode of Veronica Mars last night. I asked Rob Thomas about the shoutout and he was honored that a great show mentioned them , but really didn't say much on the censoring. And he also loved working with the younger Bluths who will hopefully be back next season.
