Bring it On: All or Nothing Press Release

Yeah, it has been a while since I have updated here. It has been partly because of a couple graduate classes that have lacked any resemblance to fun and partly because, well I really have not had anything to post. But I recently gotten some exclusive pictures to Bring it On: All or Nothing which will be premiering on ABCFamily next Sunday. So starting tomorrow I'll be posting a new picture everyday leading up to the premiere. But for today, check out the press release:

Bring it On: All or Nothing

BEFORE SHE HAD TO SAVE THE WORLD, TV’S HEROIC CHEERLEADER HAYDEN PANETTIERE HAD TO
“BRING IT ON: ALL OR NOTHING”

SMASH HIT DVD MAKES ITS BROADCAST DEBUT ON ABC FAMILY MARCH 25th

The Film Also Stars Solange Knowles-Smith (“Johnson Family Vacation”)

Burbank, CA (February 26, 2007) — In the third film of the “Bring It On” series, the sassy yet spirited cheerleaders bust out with hotter moves, hotter music and hotter dance sequences when “Bring It On: All or Nothing” airs Sunday, March 25 (8:00 – 10:00 PM ET/PT).

Life is good for Britney Allen (Hayden Panettiere), making her the envy of all girls at Pacific Vista High School. She’s beautiful, captain of the cheer squad, has the perfect boyfriend and is the front runner for homecoming queen. All comes to a halt when her father’s job moves them out of their posh neighborhood forcing Britney to join the squad of her rival, Crenshaw Heights High School. Despite Crenshaw Heights’ tough head cheerleader Camille (Solange Knowles-Smith), Britney proves to be a force to reckon with and secures a spot on the squad. Britney and her new squad work vehemently together to prepare their routine to audition for an opportunity to perform on television with pop star Rihanna (as herself). In a heated competition, Britney finds herself in a cheer-off between her new squad and old -- but only one can be #1!

When it was released straight to DVD in 2006, “Bring It On: All or Nothing” reached phenomenon status and proved the strength of the franchise when it hit the top of the sales (#3) and rental (#7) charts alongside hit theatricals and television series starring household names. The ABC Family broadcast marks the first time the film has been available in any format other than DVD.

“Bring It On: All or Nothing” was executive produced by Armyan Bernstein (“The Guardian” and “Ladder 49”), Charlie Lyons (“The Guardian” and “A Lot Like Love”), and Zanne Devine (“The Guardian” and “A Lot Like Love”), directed by Steve Rash (“American Pie Presents Band Camp” and TV Series “Zenon: Z3”), produced by Universal Studios Family Productions and Beacon Pictures, and distributed by Universal Studios Home Entertainment. Writing credits are given to Alyson Fouse (TV Series “Everybody Hates Chris” and TV Series “My Wife and Kids”).

Distributed in over 91 million homes, ABC Family features original movies, series and specials reflecting today’s families and entertaining and connecting with adults through relevant stories about today’s relationships, all told with diversity, dysfunction, passion, humor and heart. Supernatural: Crossroad Blues

New Supernatural tomorrow at 9:00 on The CW and I have the press release for Crossroad Blues. With a title like that and Dean's penchant for classic rock I will be thoroughly disappointed if Cream isn't played at some point during the episode. But anyways. Here's the press release:

DEAN LEARNS THE PAINFUL TRUTH ABOUT HIS FATHER’S DEATH — When two highly successful professionals die after claiming to be haunted by hellhounds, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate the local dive bar and discover it sits upon a site where a deal-making demon has been making people’s dreams come true in exchange for their souls. Dean summons the demon to exorcise it but is horrified after it reveals the painful truth about John’s death and tempts Dean by offering him the one thing he wants more than anything – his father. Sera Gamble wrote the episode directed by Steve Boyum (#208).

Supernatual Pictures

I really hadn't planned on watching Supernatural because the season finale was one of the worst I've ever seen. But since Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip moved to Mondays leaving nothing worth watching Thursdays at 9:00 (aside from what I choose to tape at 8:00 between Survivor, My Name Is Earl and Smallville) I may give it another chance. Here is the press release for the season premiere a week from today along with some exclusive pictures:

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 28
“SUPERNATURAL” — (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET)
“In My Time of Dying” (TV-PG, L, V) (HDTV)

THE WINCHESTER MEN BATTLE THE DEMON AFTER A LIFE-THREATENING ACCIDENT — Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles) and John (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) were left for dead after the Demon plowed a semi into the Impala. Now, one of the Winchesters hovers between life and death as the surviving family must face an old and powerful adversary. Eric Kripke wrote the episode directed by Kim Manners (#201).

America's Next Top Model Finale

America's Next Top Model ended last night and unfortunately my girl Joanie Dodds didn't win. I had a feeling since an all American Midwestern girl won the last cycle, they wouldn't have two in a row. Here are some pictures of her taken from the finale courtesy of UPN along with the press release:

Joanie from America's Next Top Model 1

DANIELLE EVANS IS AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL

Danielle Evans, a 20-year-old babysitter from Little Rock, Ark., was crowned AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL in the finale of the sixth cycle of UPN's hit dramality series. The three remaining girls participated in a national television commercial and photo shoot for CoverGirl’s Lash Exact Mascara. While all three girls struggled memorizing their lines, Jade had the most difficulty. Even after Jay Manuel brought out cue cards to help her, she still continued to miss her lines.

The next day, the finalists faced the judges for the 11th elimination of the competition. The judges felt that while all three girls looked beautiful in their photographs and on camera, Jade was repeatedly coming up with excuses for her lack of perfection in the photo shoots; thus eliminating her from the competition and leaving only two girls to compete for the crown.

The next day, Danielle and Joanie were met by Jay Manuel at the location for their final challenge, a runway show for top fashion designer Roj Singhakul with a lengthy, above water pathway connected by temples. During the show, Danielle impressed the judges with her powerful walk and improvised poses, while Joanie performed well but showed less stage presence.

During the final elimination, the judges considered the runway performances from the final runway challenge, as well as each girl's photos throughout the competition. While the judges agreed that Joanie had many versatile looks, they felt that Danielle had the “signature look” idealistic of a top model. “This has been such a long journey that will soon come to an end, but for one of you, it’s just the beginning,” Tyra said before announcing Danielle as AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL.

America's Next Top Model Press Release

One more episode to America's Next Top Model left (check back tomorrow for my prediction) and here is a press release about the latest castoff as well as a picture courtesy of UPN:

SARA ELIMINATED FROM UPN'S "AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL"

Sara, a student from Davis, Calif., became the tenth girl eliminated from the sixth cycle of UPN's hit series AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL, reducing the pool from four girls to the final three.

Following a lesson on Thai customs from designer Pichita Rucksajit, the girls embarked on individual go-see opportunities where they met with renowned Thai designers who judged their knowledge of Thai customs and modeling skills. Sara felt confident in her awareness of Thai customs, but the pressure of the go-see opportunity caused her to tense up, allowing her nerves to outshine her potential as a model.

The next day the girls set off for Phuket where they posed in OP Swimwear amongst the wind and waves for an Amp'd Mobile advertisement photographed by Nigel Barker. Once again, Sara appeared tense in front of the camera and had difficulty connecting her facial expressions with her sultry poses. "Good models have to be comfortable with themselves," Nigel said eluding to Sara's awkwardness.

Back in Bangkok, the judges viewed photographs from each of the go-see opportunities. While all of the girls exhibited grounds for improvement, Sara's photos appeared amateur and didn't stand out amongst the group. "The judges look at you as the most improved girl here," Tyra said to Sara. "But the judges are now saying 'has she improved enough?'" Thus, Sara was eliminated from the running to become AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL.

The winner of UPN's AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL will have the opportunity to be managed by Ford Models. She will also receive a $100,000 contract with cosmetics giant CoverGirl. The winner will additionally appear in a fashion spread in Elle magazine.
The sixth installment of UPN's hit dramality series AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL follows 13 young women as they attempt to prove they have what it takes to make it in the high-stress, high-stakes world of modeling. Banks, who created the show, also serves as executive producer along with Ken Mok ("Making the Band") and Anthony Dominici ("The Amazing Race").
AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL airs Wednesdays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on UPN. For more information about AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL, log on to

Veronica Mars Press Releases

A lot going on lately in Neptune these days as I have a couple press releases straight from UPN.  Also you want to check out my latest Toss Up: Lost vs Veronica Mars week 11 over on my sister site.  Lastly, since my favorite on America's Next Top Model got booted this week I'm going to do a little revisionist history and post the latest picture of my new favorite, Joanie.  The picture courtesy of UPN.  So here's all that:

Veronica Mars is moving back to Tuesday nights!

We wanted to let you know that UPN announced today that they are moving Veronica Mars back to her original time period on Tuesdays at 9 PM. Starting April 11, tune in to UPN on Tuesday nights to catch all new episodes of Veronica Mars through the season finale on May 9. Repeats will air on Wednesday nights at 9 pm ET/PT for the first couple of weeks.

The hope is that more people will be able to tune-in to Veronica on Tuesdays. So, tell all your friends that there are no excuses now not to watch Veronica Mars!

---------------------------------------------

If you videotape you and your friends watching Veronica Mars, you may get a chance to see yourself on national TV!

UPN is offering its dedicated Veronica Mars bloggers a great opportunity to have your 15-seconds of fame! Every week, get a group of friends together for a Veronica Mars viewing party and shoot some video of your event. The tape can include anything you want: sound bites of your friends talking about their favorite characters, you saying why you love Veronica Mars, or a group shout-out to your friends and family in your hometown. But keep it clean, because your tape could end up airing on UPN during an episode of Veronica Mars!

Every week starting in April, tune in to Veronica Mars on UPN to see if your party is chosen as the featured party that airs during that week’s episode. Even if your party doesn’t make it on UPN, make sure to check out UPN.com to see if it is online.

Creativity counts and don’t forget to express why you are the biggest Veronica Mars fan. This is an excellent opportunity to convert your friends into Veronica Mars fans!!!!

Please keep in mind that if your video is broadcast on TV, it will need to be brightly lit and the audio will need to be clear. Also, in order to ensure that we can use it, the video can’t include any copyrighted materials, such as logos on clothing, music or television programming playing in the background, or signage, like posters, paintings, photographs, and etc.

The featured parties will run during a commercial break and UPN’s producers will be editing your footage into an on-air promo, so the tape only needs to be a few minutes long. Finally, depending on your home video camera, VHS, mini-DV or DVD are best.

In order for UPN to be able to use your tape on air or on , you and all of your friends at the party need to sign releases and provide a current photograph of each of you so we can identify who everyone is. (e-mail me for more information ScooterKSU@aol.com)

America's Next Top Model Week 3

Well how it usually goes down on reality show, my most favorite goes down early and in the case of America's Next Top Model favorite basically means hottest. Here's the press release from last week's episode, that finally was shown here as it was orginally pre-empted by the Cavs game orginally, followed by that last glimpse of the fallen Kari, pictures courtesy of UPN:

KARI ELIMINATED FROM UPN'S "AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL"

Kari, a student from Brookings, S.D., became the third girl eliminated from the sixth cycle of UPN's hit series AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL, reducing the pool from 11 girls to 10.

J. Alexander met the girls for their first runway lesson and critiqued each on their poise and strut down the catwalk. Though many girls were unsure of their skills on the runway, Kari seemed especially nervous to hear J.'s criticism of her effort. Once the initial assessments were given, the stakes were raised as each had to use the skills they had learned to sashay down the runway in an evening gown. Kari repeatedly stumbled causing her to lose focus and intensity. "She doesn't really know how to give you the attitude that is really needed," J. said after the lesson.

Back at the girls' Hollywood mansion, Kari's confidence continued to crumble as the reality of the difficult competition, paired with a case of homesickness, began to set in.

The next day, the girls were greeted by J. Alexander and legendary fashion designer Jared Gold for a challenge that would test their ability to handle outrageous twists within the fashion industry. Wearing Gold's beautiful spring collection, the girls had to walk the runway while donning a live Madagascar hissing cockroach. Gold seemed impressed by Jade's confident approach to the shocking challenge, but felt that Kari's walk was too slow and her enthusiasm on the runway fell flat.

Jay Manuel then met the girls for their weekly photo shoot where each had to depict a modern day fairytale character falling in mid-air. Kari, who portrayed Goldilocks, continued to have difficulty changing her look and expression throughout the shoot.

During the week's elimination ceremony, the judges once again challenged the girls to walk the runway, this time in incredibly high heeled shoes that tested their focus and balance. As she faced the judges for her critique, Kari's emotions continued to rise as she felt her performance didn't reflect her best effort. In the end, the judges agreed that although her previous photos had been fierce, Kari's effort on the runway just didn't measure up. "A girl like you that is not necessarily super tall or has a model proportion has to be almost perfect and you nearly fell off this runway," Tyra said just before eliminating Kari from the competition.

The winner of UPN's AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL will have the opportunity to be managed by Ford Models. She will also receive a $100,000 contract with cosmetics giant CoverGirl. The winner will additionally appear in a fashion spread in Elle magazine and on the cover of ELLEgirl Magazine.

The fifth installment of UPN's hit dramality series AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL follows 13 young women as they attempt to prove they have what it takes to make it in the high-stress, high-stakes world of modeling. For more information about AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL log on to .
