Okay, so the light were not on in the classroom while I was on the set of Veronica Mars, but I went ahead and took a picture anyways. I believe this class was set up for English, but most likely was used for one of the study halls that were used near the end of the season. It is a little easier to see things if you click on the picture to enlarge.
There's some cool Veronica Mars news that I'd like to share in lue of another of my on-set pictures. First the official season three trailer is up on the CW website, so click the link to see. Personally I think there's not enough Dick, but at least there's no Black Eyed Peas soundtrack.
Then over at Pass the Remote, has a post on how to ensure a full season three pick up, so I advise you to check that out as I'm too lazy to even copy and pasted. So check out the link to see what you can do.
Like I teased Friday, there is an interesting story behind the Lilly Kane Memorial. If you look at the poem engraved, it's heart warming right? Well it was actually taken from an unaired episode of Freaks and Geeks and written in honored for one of the character's dead dog. For a closer look, click the picture to enlarge.
With the upcoming holiday, it only seems appropriate to post a picture of Neptune High School's own memorial, that was dedicated to Lilly Kane during season one of Veronica Mars. But don't forget to pour some out for the real people who sacrificed their life for the country sometime this extended weekend too. Then check back Tuesday when I resume posting with a another shot of the memorial along with a story behind it.
Here is the last of the official photos courtesy of UPN/Warner Bros from the Veronica Mars finale. Tomorrow it's back to my pictures from the set of the show (unless I'm lazy, then they will return after the Memorial Day Weekend).
I still have a couple pictures left over from the Veronica Mars finale so here's on of the proud papa courtesy of UPN/Warner Bros.
Again, here is the aftermath of Beaver's dastardly deed.
I just showed you a still of Evil Beaver with arms crossed looking at the destruction he crossed, now here is a video of the post-crash site. Just a warning, you may want to turn off your speakers because the background music is a little annoying. And by a little I mean a lot.
If you were like me and forgot to check out Beaver's reaction after the bus crash on the repeat of the second season premeire of Veronica Mars, here's a screen cap from the episode. Click for a bigger view.
America's Next Top Model ended last night and unfortunately my girl Joanie Dodds didn't win. I had a feeling since an all American Midwestern girl won the last cycle, they wouldn't have two in a row. Here are some pictures of her taken from the finale courtesy of UPN along with the press release:

DANIELLE EVANS IS AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODELDanielle Evans, a 20-year-old babysitter from Little Rock, Ark., was crowned AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL in the finale of the sixth cycle of UPN's hit dramality series. The three remaining girls participated in a national television commercial and photo shoot for CoverGirl’s Lash Exact Mascara. While all three girls struggled memorizing their lines, Jade had the most difficulty. Even after Jay Manuel brought out cue cards to help her, she still continued to miss her lines.
The next day, the finalists faced the judges for the 11th elimination of the competition. The judges felt that while all three girls looked beautiful in their photographs and on camera, Jade was repeatedly coming up with excuses for her lack of perfection in the photo shoots; thus eliminating her from the competition and leaving only two girls to compete for the crown.
The next day, Danielle and Joanie were met by Jay Manuel at the location for their final challenge, a runway show for top fashion designer Roj Singhakul with a lengthy, above water pathway connected by temples. During the show, Danielle impressed the judges with her powerful walk and improvised poses, while Joanie performed well but showed less stage presence.
During the final elimination, the judges considered the runway performances from the final runway challenge, as well as each girl's photos throughout the competition. While the judges agreed that Joanie had many versatile looks, they felt that Danielle had the “signature look” idealistic of a top model. “This has been such a long journey that will soon come to an end, but for one of you, it’s just the beginning,” Tyra said before announcing Danielle as AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL.
Things have been a little busy, so I haven't been able to put up new pictures the last couple days, but I thought I'd quickly drop a post as I have heard from reliable sources that creator Rob Thomas himself sent him an e-mail saying that Veronica Mars will be on the inaugural CW schedule. No official word yet, so hopefully someone didn't do any hacking into Rob's e-mail. So be sure to check out the entertainment sites on Thursday to see exactly what day and time the show will air.
One more episode to America's Next Top Model left (check back tomorrow for my prediction) and here is a press release about the latest castoff as well as a picture courtesy of UPN:
SARA ELIMINATED FROM UPN'S "AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL"
Sara, a student from Davis, Calif., became the tenth girl eliminated from the sixth cycle of UPN's hit series AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL, reducing the pool from four girls to the final three.
Following a lesson on Thai customs from designer Pichita Rucksajit, the girls embarked on individual go-see opportunities where they met with renowned Thai designers who judged their knowledge of Thai customs and modeling skills. Sara felt confident in her awareness of Thai customs, but the pressure of the go-see opportunity caused her to tense up, allowing her nerves to outshine her potential as a model.
The next day the girls set off for Phuket where they posed in OP Swimwear amongst the wind and waves for an Amp'd Mobile advertisement photographed by Nigel Barker. Once again, Sara appeared tense in front of the camera and had difficulty connecting her facial expressions with her sultry poses. "Good models have to be comfortable with themselves," Nigel said eluding to Sara's awkwardness.
Back in Bangkok, the judges viewed photographs from each of the go-see opportunities. While all of the girls exhibited grounds for improvement, Sara's photos appeared amateur and didn't stand out amongst the group. "The judges look at you as the most improved girl here," Tyra said to Sara. "But the judges are now saying 'has she improved enough?'" Thus, Sara was eliminated from the running to become AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL.
The winner of UPN's AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL will have the opportunity to be managed by Ford Models. She will also receive a $100,000 contract with cosmetics giant CoverGirl. The winner will additionally appear in a fashion spread in Elle magazine.
The sixth installment of UPN's hit dramality series AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL follows 13 young women as they attempt to prove they have what it takes to make it in the high-stress, high-stakes world of modeling. Banks, who created the show, also serves as executive producer along with Ken Mok ("Making the Band") and Anthony Dominici ("The Amazing Race").
AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL airs Wednesdays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on UPN. For more information about AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL, log on to www.upn.com.
A couple happy father daughter moments from the Veronica Mars finale courtesy of UPN/Warner Bros. Of course these pictures were taken before Keith stood up Ronnie and the airport so who knows how good their relation is right now. And hopefully everyone is ignoring those nasty 7th Heaven rumors that are floating around the net. Just keep in mind a wise man said, "CW? It's a done deal."
Not quite a pony stuffed into the envelope. Personally I was hoping for an invitation to the CW schedule. Since I have an over abundance of graduation pictures below is another one of Wallace. Both pictures courtesy of UPN/Warner Bros.
The official Toss Up is now up on the 9th Green - Toss Up: Lost vs Veronica Mars week 16.
First off I want to point out that even though I was way off on who crashed the bus, I totally called Jackie with child, Weevil being picked up at graduation, Veronica getting Le Clap from someone who raped her at the infamous Shelly Pomroy party, and Aaron Echolls getting killed. Granted I did pull back on the last one after suggesting there would be a “Who Killed Aaron” mystery next season with it being revealed that a not so dead Lynn Echolls did it. Then I realized that no one would care who killed Aaron because everyone would just be happy he was gone. But the writers were smart enough to solve that dilemma by going ahead and telling us who did it right away, leaving no mystery.
And speaking of Aaron’s death, Duncan and Clarence’s exchange, “CW?” “It’s a done deal” has to be an admission that Veronica Mars will be on the CW schedule next season, right? Rob Thomas isn’t going to put that that line in if it wasn’t, in fact, a done deal or if the powers that be at the network gave him the go ahead, would he? Even though I haven’t believed any of the speculation or supposed insider information, thanks to that line, my hopes are official raised for a third season. The only potential problem though is that the line was a blatantly stolen from Arrested Development’s (I actually discussed with Rob how great the show was and he also admitted that Big Dick’s shredding exit scene was an homage to that show) “It’s Showtime” line and see how that turned out.
Then of course there was the whole bus crash thing and it looks like sales of “I (Heart) Beaver” t-shirts will be on the decline. But then again Duke lacrosse gear went through the roof lately. (If you want yours, check out Ducky’s site.) I’m still not entirely sold that the Beav would kill a bus load of innocent people just to get two people. Then I totally missed how Veronica jumped from seeing Beaver’s name not pictured to figuring out he was a murderer. Then why after all these years living with it, why kill Mayor Goodwood? And why after finding a bomb under his car would Woody not sweep everything in his hangar too? But anyways.
On the subject of Mayor Goodwood, how great is it that he watches Dukes of Hazzard? If that’s the last television show I see before I die, at least I’ll die a happy man. And the throwing of the moose head was classic; that would be something Officer Mahoney would do as a last line of defense.
Then we had yet another dream sequence in what may of happened had Lily not been murdered thus daddy’s still sheriff, mommy’s still around and sober, and Lily is still a dirty, dirty slut. One thing I missed though is that I never realized that Lily was older than everyone. For all this time I thought she was Duncan’s little sister yet at the same time the same age as Veronica. Oh well. I was disappointed that Logan turned out to be her dream boyfriend. But at least Dick made the cut in her dream. And what does it say about Ronnie that she had him going commando in her dream. And the best part of the episode is when Dick slapped Vee’s butt after graduation. Seriously how long until she gets a little Dick in her life?
I really hope the writers of Veronica Mars know something we don't know. Love the shades of Arrested Development in that line (except for the whole not actually making onto Showtime). Perfect. (If you haven't seen the episode yet, I won't spoil you to what that mean, but be sure to watch out for that exchange.)Even though my Toss Up with be on the 9th Green on Thursday, I may have a very special preview of the Veronica Mars part of the Toss Up posted here tomorrow. One more graduation picture of the returing Wallace's mom courtesy of UPN/Warner Bros.:
It's graduation day tonight on the season finale of Veronica Mars and Veronica looks like she's happy about that. One person who looks surprisingly happy is Dick who, thanks to Mr Wu, is sans cap and gown. Seriously, who shows up to a graduation they or are family member isn't participating in? But you gotta love the "Trust Me, I'm Rich" shirt. Dick should open his own apparel store. Both pictures courtesy of UPN/Warner Bros.
Here is a picture of Mac in her cap and gown.
Here is the offical Press Release ever from UPN for the season finale of Veronica Mars. Hopefully in a couple months I can bring you the first press release from CW for the show:
AFTER FINALLY IDENTIFYING THE CULPRIT OF THE BUS CRASH, VERONICA ENDS UP PUTTING HERSELF IN GRAVE DANGER, ON THE SEASON FINALE OF "VERONICA MARS," TUESDAY, MAY 9 ON UPN
Steve Guttenberg ("The Poseidon Adventure") Returns As Mayor Woody Goodman; Tina Majorino ("Napoleon Dynamite") Returns As Veronica's Classmate Mac; Harry Hamlin ("L.A. Law") and Charisma Carpenter ("Angel") Also Return
"Not Pictured" -- After learning the identity of the perpetrator responsible for the bus crash, Veronica hurries to warn others, but ends up putting herself in an extremely perilous situation, on the season finale of VERONICA MARS, Tuesday, May 9 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on UPN. John Kretchmer directed the episode from a script written by series' creator and Executive Producer Rob Thomas, and John Enbom.
Meanwhile, Keith enlists Veronica's help in his ongoing investigation of Woody (guest star Steve Guttenberg) and asks her go undercover to get some vital information from Woody's lawyer. Later, when graduation day finally comes around, Neptune seniors celebrate at a huge party at the Neptune Grand.
Before he heads off to trade school, Logan must first grab his diploma, or I wouldn’t be too surprised if it’s just a certificate of attendance. But the big question is will the rest of the Echolls family be there to support him? Or with his mansion burned down, will he offer dear ol’ dad Duncan’s room in the penthouse? The picture is courtesy of UPN/Warner Bros.
Thanks to Mac and Beaver, Weevil will be walking across the stage next week during graduation. Something tells me he will then walk offstage and be greeted my Lamb with a set of handcuffs after being fingered by the kids for the murder of Thumper. The above picture is courtesy of UPN/Warner Bros.
Graduation hits next week and of course Veronica will hit the stage. The question is will it be her or Angie Dahl that gets to give the speech. Well considering Veronica walked out of a final, it is a forgone conclusion that Angie got it, leaving Veronica without enough money to fulfill Dick's shower fantasy and thus ending up with Wallace at Hearst. The picture is courtesy of UPN/Warner Bros. and used by permission. And to the regular readers to the 9th Green, since Lost isn't on until tonight, the usual Toss Up will be up by tomorrow. And be sure to check back here all week for more exclusive graduation pictures.

I just got a bunch of pictures from the finale of Veronica Mars so while I transfer the old posts, I'll be putting up new graduation pictures leading up, and most likely past the season's last show. So make sure you look out for that for the next couple days. The picture above is courtesy of UPN/Warner Bros.
A place that Veronica Mars knows very well, Sheriff Lamb's office. Unfortunately it looks like Lamb was off at the Neptune Grand with Madison Sinclair when I was at the set.
Don't say you didn't learn anything from Veronica Mars, this helpful hint could lead to a healthier lifesyle.
Another good story while on the set of Veronica Mars was our quick pit stop at the prop depatment. The first thing of note, and sadly I didn't get a picture of, was the sign for the defunt Fox show, Point Pleasant. Then there was this. At first Rob Thomas could remember where the fake deer were from but then recalled, but didn't tell us which promted me to say "Why do I think Dick is involved?" That got a laugh out of Rob, and I even named the picture as such, but as seen last night, Dick was in no way involved. Oh well.
Ever wonder what Kristen Bell does in between takes when she is at Veronica's desk at Mars Investigation? Well here's your answer, and apperently, the office is slightly behind the times as this picture was taken in late Feb. 2006.
Just a peek at Veronica's desk over at Mars Investigation.
The famous Mars Investigation door and yes I know my camera isn't very good. If you look at some of the other Veronica Mars boggers, they have better versions of the door.
A couple days ago, I showed Veronica's desk at Mars Investigation now here's papa bear's hang out.
I've been holding onto this nugget for a while as it was one of the very few times they told us we were not allowed to post. But now that everyone has seen it in the episode, that ban has been lifted. I have to admit it didn't cross my mind that this poster was a spoiler until the UPN representative said we were not to post it. Then after taking a closer look I was like, Oh, I get it." For those that did miss last night's episode be sure to check out the repeat of it tonight at it's regular day and time or if you plan on watching Lost, many UPN afiliates repeat Veronica Mars on Sunday so check your local listings.
Tonight's Veronica Mars will spend alot of time talking about the bus crash so it's safe to say this will be utilized tonight.
Well it's finally here, the episode that they were taping during the Veronica Mars Bloggers Press Day. Not that I've seen the latest episode yet, which won't be on here for another couple hours. But anyways, here's the official press release for the next episode on it's new day of Tuesday, do mark your calendar.
VERONICA IS HAUNTED BY DREAMS IN WHICH SHE IS CONFRONTED BY THE STUDENTS KILLED IN THE BUS CRASH, ON "VERONICA MARS," ON ITS NEW DAY, TUESDAY, APRIL 11 AT 9:00 PM ON UPN
"I Am God" -- A restless Veronica is plagued by dreams in which the students killed in the bus crash confront her, on VERONICA MARS, on its new day, Tuesday, April 11 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on UPN. Martha Mitchell directed the episode from a script written by Diane Ruggiero and Cathy Belben.
Meanwhile, Logan and Weevil are paired together for a physics project that neither is enthusiastic about, until they discover that their success might help Veronica receive a scholarship. Later, when a large number of students are diagnosed with a medical ailment that gives them the right to postpone school tests and projects, a concerned principal Clemmons hires Keith to investigate the validity of the disorder.
Here's my only picture of Rob Thomas from the Bloggers Press Day on the set of Veronica Mars. For those wondering why he looks nothing like the dude from Matchbox Twenty, check out No, Not That Rob Thomas.
Here's my only picture of Jason Dorhing, also known as Logan Eckolls, from the Bloggers Press Day on the set of Veronica Mars.
The last of my pictures of Veronica Cd collection, not that will see them myself tonight as the show is once again preempted by a Cavs game. To add insult to injury they are playing the Knick. Seriously, who wants to see the worst team in basketball? Oh well, I'll just have to wait until Saturday. Hopefully I'm not spoiled by then.
Here are some more tunes Veronica jams to while at home.
Okay, so from what we have heard on the show, Veronica doesn't have the best taste in music (seriously, Paula Cole, I hope that was a joke). Here are some more of her musical tastes. The Virgin Suicides Soundtrack is oddly nowhere to be found.
Here's the press release for this week's episode of Veronica Mars, the last to air on Wednesday as the show will move to Tuesday April 11:
VERONICA AND WEEVIL WORK TOGETHER TO BRING FELIX’S MURDERER TO JUSTICE, ON "VERONICA MARS," WEDNESDAY, APRIL 5 ON UPN
Recurring Guest Stars Steve Guttenberg ("The Poseidon Adventure") and Tina Majorino ("Napoleon Dynamite") Return
"Plan B" -- Weevil enlists Veronica's help to finally prove who killed Felix and bring that person to justice, on VERONICA MARS, Wednesday, April 5 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on UPN. John Kretchmer directed the episode from a script written by Dayna Lynne North.
Meanwhile, Logan wins an essay contest and gets to intern with Mayor Woody Goodman (guest star Steve Guttenberg) as his Honorary Deputy. Also, love is in the air at the Sadie Hawkins dance as sparks fly between former couples.
My new favorite, Joanie Dodds, on America's Next Top Model survived another round and here is her latest picture courtesy of UPN:
Just got this from my contact ast UPN thought I'd pass it along:
Veronica Bloggers, we need your help with only something you can do. There's a rumor on the internet that Veronica Mars is canceled. It's not true. Please help us spread the word.
If you were on the Rob Thomas Blogger Press Conference yesterday, you know that he's planning for a third season. Season three is still absolutely possible with your support!
So tune in tonight, 9 PM, ET/PT on UPN.
Wonder what will the special will be at Java the Hut in a couple weeks? Well just check out the sign.
A lot going on lately in Neptune these days as I have a couple press releases straight from UPN. Also you want to check out my latest Toss Up: Lost vs Veronica Mars week 11 over on my sister site. Lastly, since my favorite on America's Next Top Model got booted this week I'm going to do a little revisionist history and post the latest picture of my new favorite, Joanie. The picture courtesy of UPN. So here's all that:
Veronica Mars is moving back to Tuesday nights!
We wanted to let you know that UPN announced today that they are moving Veronica Mars back to her original time period on Tuesdays at 9 PM. Starting April 11, tune in to UPN on Tuesday nights to catch all new episodes of Veronica Mars through the season finale on May 9. Repeats will air on Wednesday nights at 9 pm ET/PT for the first couple of weeks.
The hope is that more people will be able to tune-in to Veronica on Tuesdays. So, tell all your friends that there are no excuses now not to watch Veronica Mars!
---------------------------------------------
If you videotape you and your friends watching Veronica Mars, you may get a chance to see yourself on national TV!
UPN is offering its dedicated Veronica Mars bloggers a great opportunity to have your 15-seconds of fame! Every week, get a group of friends together for a Veronica Mars viewing party and shoot some video of your event. The tape can include anything you want: sound bites of your friends talking about their favorite characters, you saying why you love Veronica Mars, or a group shout-out to your friends and family in your hometown. But keep it clean, because your tape could end up airing on UPN during an episode of Veronica Mars!
Every week starting in April, tune in to Veronica Mars on UPN to see if your party is chosen as the featured party that airs during that week’s episode. Even if your party doesn’t make it on UPN, make sure to check out UPN.com to see if it is online.
Creativity counts and don’t forget to express why you are the biggest Veronica Mars fan. This is an excellent opportunity to convert your friends into Veronica Mars fans!!!!
Please keep in mind that if your video is broadcast on TV, it will need to be brightly lit and the audio will need to be clear. Also, in order to ensure that we can use it, the video can’t include any copyrighted materials, such as logos on clothing, music or television programming playing in the background, or signage, like posters, paintings, photographs, and etc.
The featured parties will run during a commercial break and UPN’s producers will be editing your footage into an on-air promo, so the tape only needs to be a few minutes long. Finally, depending on your home video camera, VHS, mini-DV or DVD are best.
In order for UPN to be able to use your tape on air or on UPN.com, you and all of your friends at the party need to sign releases and provide a current photograph of each of you so we can identify who everyone is. Well how it usually goes down on reality show, my most favorite goes down early and in the case of America's Next Top Model favorite basically means hottest. Here's the press release from last week's episode, that finally was shown here as it was orginally pre-empted by the Cavs game orginally, followed by that last glimpse of the fallen Kari, pictures courtesy of UPN:
KARI ELIMINATED FROM UPN'S "AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL"
Kari, a student from Brookings, S.D., became the third girl eliminated from the sixth cycle of UPN's hit series AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL, reducing the pool from 11 girls to 10.
J. Alexander met the girls for their first runway lesson and critiqued each on their poise and strut down the catwalk. Though many girls were unsure of their skills on the runway, Kari seemed especially nervous to hear J.'s criticism of her effort. Once the initial assessments were given, the stakes were raised as each had to use the skills they had learned to sashay down the runway in an evening gown. Kari repeatedly stumbled causing her to lose focus and intensity. "She doesn't really know how to give you the attitude that is really needed," J. said after the lesson.
Back at the girls' Hollywood mansion, Kari's confidence continued to crumble as the reality of the difficult competition, paired with a case of homesickness, began to set in.
The next day, the girls were greeted by J. Alexander and legendary fashion designer Jared Gold for a challenge that would test their ability to handle outrageous twists within the fashion industry. Wearing Gold's beautiful spring collection, the girls had to walk the runway while donning a live Madagascar hissing cockroach. Gold seemed impressed by Jade's confident approach to the shocking challenge, but felt that Kari's walk was too slow and her enthusiasm on the runway fell flat.
Jay Manuel then met the girls for their weekly photo shoot where each had to depict a modern day fairytale character falling in mid-air. Kari, who portrayed Goldilocks, continued to have difficulty changing her look and expression throughout the shoot.
During the week's elimination ceremony, the judges once again challenged the girls to walk the runway, this time in incredibly high heeled shoes that tested their focus and balance. As she faced the judges for her critique, Kari's emotions continued to rise as she felt her performance didn't reflect her best effort. In the end, the judges agreed that although her previous photos had been fierce, Kari's effort on the runway just didn't measure up. "A girl like you that is not necessarily super tall or has a model proportion has to be almost perfect and you nearly fell off this runway," Tyra said just before eliminating Kari from the competition.
The winner of UPN's AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL will have the opportunity to be managed by Ford Models. She will also receive a $100,000 contract with cosmetics giant CoverGirl. The winner will additionally appear in a fashion spread in Elle magazine and on the cover of ELLEgirl Magazine.
The fifth installment of UPN's hit dramality series AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL follows 13 young women as they attempt to prove they have what it takes to make it in the high-stress, high-stakes world of modeling. For more information about AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL log on to http://www.upn.com/.
A little break from my usual photos from my visit to the set of Veronica Mars with something fans of the show should get a kick out of from last weekend's NCAA Tournament with a cheerleader from Wichita State. Oh and the nickname of the school: The Shockers. Classic, Dick would be so proud. And if you don't know what that hand gesture means, you're better off not knowing.
If you were ever sent to Principal Clemmons office, here is where you'd be waiting. And just a note for those who visit my sister site, the 9th Green, the usual Thursday Toss Up between Lost and Veronica Mars will be postponed due to my local UPN station showing the Cavs vs. the Bobcats game. Seriously, the Bobcats, it’s not like they are playing the Pistons or Kobe. But anyways. I’ll have my Toss Up as soon as I see the new Veronica Mars which will be no later than Sunday.
Ever wonder what is on Logan's reading list, well oddly it's a photography magazine. Although that may just be a cover for what look's to a Maxim underneath. Unfortunately I didn't think to check to see if it was the Kristen Bell issue.
Do you have pirate pride? This little mural was hiding out in the courtyard and thought you the viewer should have a closer look.
